13 1/4 x 10 1/2 x 4 3/8 William Gilbert Cottage Clock. 1 day movement with alarm. Original finish, original glasses. Handwritten on back "April 14th 1879" with initials in pencil.
Rings hourly on a bell.
Nice little clock, strong runner.
Finish is crackled with some chips.
Paper label inside clock.
Movement has #5 stamped on front. Looks like the movement was cleaned and repositioned.
Small reverse painting has some flaking, but displays nicely.
Door looks like it was rehung with small nails instead of screws.
Face looks like someone tried to clean it.

This is being sold as it was purchased. Any changes that we think were made were made prior to our owning the clock have been noted.
Sold as is. We are not clock experts, but clock lovers. We purchased what we loved without much technical background.
