Vintage Dachshund dog black and tan begging figurine This is a very nice vintage Dachshund dog figure figurine, black and tan, in a begging postition. Anatomically correct too! He stands about 7 1/2 inches tall, and has some crazing. There are no maker marks. His tail shows a bump (for lack of a better word) that is brown, but it's not a chip, but looks like some kind of maker flaw....like a little paint and/or glaze skip. He's *very* realistic looking, unlike some Dachshund figurines I've seen.  

Dog figurine This is a figurine of a dog that stands just a touch over two inches at his ears. The word "Japan" is incised into the back.
