This is a carboard covered Pennsylvania Railroad log book of some kind. It has one or two pages torn out, but otherwise unused. The cover has a crease (see second image). It has a date for 194_, so I think you can assume it was printed in the 1940s, and there is a date of 8-14-42 printed in small numbers at the top. Lists spots for Train, Engine number, Conductor, Enginemen, From ______M. to ______M. Loaded or Empty car moving on C.T. 212, A. Anthracite Coal and B. Bituminous Coal. ____Empty. Has Car, Initials, kind, number, X, From To and Time Placed with 26 lines down the front, 27-55, and room for remarks on the back of each sheet. |
